Coologics is developing a drug-free intravaginal cooling device called Vlisse to treat vaginal infections without antibiotics. The Cleveland-based clinical-stage medical device company recently secured $3M in Seed funding led by Prevail and Dream Ventures, with participation from Ohio State Early Investor Network and Illini Angels. Funds will be used to accelerate their ongoing clinical trial, FDA submission, and initial market release of Vlisse, which leverages patented cooling technology to restore the vaginal environment to a healthy state.
